Am I being presumptuous creating a list of lessons from 2011 when we still have 10 days to go?
Perhaps, yet this is a perfect time of year for retrospection; the phones are a little quiet and I’m planning for the new year.
Building on the success of this year requires that I get clear on past mistakes and shine a spotlight on the learnings so I can take that knowledge and put it into action in 2012.
So I’ll take a chance and be a little presumptuous.
A list of lessons from 2011
1. Runners can be worn for years without adverse affects to feet and limbs.
2. Persistence – when I get ready to take flight there’s something hidden from view that once recognised is worth it’s weight in gold. Keep persisting.

4. Only in action do learnings make a difference to me and others.
5. Relationships really are the heart of happiness.
6. Opportunities really, really, really are created, they just don’t happen.
7. Meditation is a wonderful ally.
8. To ask for help opens the door to fabulous connections and a wondrous world.

12. “How” is the most powerful word for an entrepreneur.
