Since early days she’s been a natural in the field of ‘business development” & ‘best customer experience’. Her commitment to both those areas never waivered whether she was working in the corporate arena or in small business, whether it was in the early days of fashion retail or the ‘dirty’ days of her time owning a furniture manufacturing plant.
Having started out in the sales & training world of big tech companies such as IBM and Compaq she switched into small business where she could drive her own destination.
Exceeding customer expectations & building relationships led her to specialise in the development of relationship strategies particularly in the arena of ‘women in business‘.
Suzy brought the Athena Network to Australia in 2009 and sold 3 franchises in 2010. The business was successful due to her determination, energy & enthusiasm for nurturing relationships rather than ‘networking’, a distinction Suzy is keen to promote.
During her leadership of the Athena Network she forged a partnership with the Commonwealth Bank that had her travel across Australia delivering her message “It’s Nurturing not Networking”. So successful were her presentations she continues to work with Commonwealth Bank in her new role as Founder & CEO of SHE Business Australia.
SHE Business Australia is a national business community that has been founded on principles of gender science & exists to connect likeminded, intelligent & informed women, knowing that together, they can achieve more than they could alone.
