What We Ask of You
Commitment
When you join a group, the women in that group will invest in you and we ask you to bring your best self to the group every meeting. And whilst we realise that life and work gets in the way, we know from experience those who attend regularly reap the greatest reward. We suggest putting the dates in your diary, planning around them and think of cancelling as if you were cancelling at the last minute on a future client.
Confidentiality
What gets shared between members stays between members – unless it’s brazen promotion of each other’s businesses – in which case go wild and share widely.
Contribution
Be prepared to jump in and share your business and life experience, your views and your sense of humour.
Generosity of spirit
Give generously of your time and experience to the wonderful women in the group online and offline and watch that same spirit come back to you in spades.
Preparation and homework
At each meeting, you’ll be asked what you want to achieve during the next month. Come prepared, having thought about where you’re heading for the next month and be prepared to put yourself on the line. Sometimes that’s the only way to make sure something happens.
Presence
When you come to an event – be with us completely. We often get stuck thinking that everything has to be done immediately and we have to be immediately available to anyone and everyone. It’s a bit of a nonsense that doesn’t allow us the time and space to work on our businesses. Think of She Business events as your ‘business me time’.
What do you get in return – or what’s in it for you?
